Daryl good to hear that the cane wasn't too bad. Better safe than sorry I guess.

Did y'all hear? I was talking to Johnny yesterday, he said that Terrance accepted the job in East Texas. I don't remember the town, but I think close to Fairfield State Park. Don't know when he will get moved but he'll be closer to his parents and brothers than he is in McAllen.

As far as Sam goes, when we moved to Pennsylvania in 1991 we took our poodle with us. After a while the dog literally went nuts. We had to put him down. I hope that isn't what you have to do. Hard on the kids, much less the poor dog.

Let's see....Hurricane Hanna was hyped way out of proportion. The Weather Channel beat it like a rented mule. It turned out to be a non-event. Little rain and little wind for us. Sort of depended on where you were during the storm. We did make some preparations. After Isabel, five yrs ago, we'll take no chances.
Meanwhile, any of ya'll down in South Texas, especially Terence and Debbie and their crew, had best hunker down. Ike appears to be a serious threat.
On a different track. Does anyone know anything about dog behavior? My poodle has lost his mind. He's started to get overly aggressive with the chihuahua, and sometimes with the kids. I really like Sam, but he's digging himself a hole. I suppose it's time for a vet visit for the both of them.
Later Folks....
